Credential Providers in Windows are pivotal for user authentication, acting as the primary means for users to confirm their identity during logon and other system verification processes. With the emergence of Windows 10 and the debut of Microsoft Passport, the significance of credential providers has amplified. They now play a vital role in authenticating users for apps, websites, and more.
Recognizing this, Aloaha has unveiled a revamped version of its Aloaha Smartlogin. This new edition is entirely crafted in managed code, leveraging the latest Microsoft Credential Provider V2 Interfaces.
To differentiate between the two software offerings, we’ve introduced a fresh name: CodeB Credential Provider V2. You can learn more about it on its official website: win-logon.com
It’s important to note that while there are now two distinct logon applications, Aloaha Smartlogin is NOT being phased out. It continues to be actively maintained. However, the target audience for each is different. Aloaha Smartlogin is designed to cater to older systems, including Windows XP, whereas CodeB Credential Provider is tailored for newer systems, starting with Windows 8.
