Requirements

• any NT based operating system such as NT4, Windows XP, Windows 2000 or Windows 2003 is supported.
  Please note that NT4 needs some manual steps after the installation. Please click here for more details. Instead of following these manual steps you could opt to automate these steps and install

• If you need to use the Aloaha FAX Connector please note that it supports only Windows XP and Windows 2003. Support for Wndows 2000 is currently under development.
  

Digital Signature Requirements

Nothing addtional to Aloaha is required if you intend to use soft certificates to sign your PDF Documents.

For qualified signatures you need a PC/SC compatible Smartcard Reader. We suggest to use one of the Aloaha certified reader listed in the Aloaha Feature List section of this website.

Digital Signature Validation

Aloaha Signatures are PDF Signature Interchange Standard compatible. That means that no additional software is required to validate the digital signatures. Even the free Adobe Reader is able to validate them.
