Microsoft Office AddIns

In some few cases it might be usefull to use the Aloaha PDF Office AddIns to increase the PDF quality of the Word of Excel prints.

That can be the case for example if you experience missing images in your PDF Documents. The main reason of missing images is that it could happen that images got pasted into the Office document in a non convertable format. The Aloaha PDF AddIn/Button will convert all images of a winword document to a convertable format before converting it to PDF.

To register the Aloaha PDF AddIns please close all Office applications and follow the steps below:

1. Open cmd.exe from Start/Run (Startmenu)
2. Browse to the common Aloaha Folder. Usually that is: C:\Program Files\Common Files\aloaha
3. Type in regsvr32 AloahaAddIn.dll
4. Type in regsvr32 ExcelAddIn.dll

Close  the command prompt and start Winword/Excel. You will see the Aloaha PDF Button. In case you use an old Office Version you might prefer our Aloaha Macros. To install the Aloaha Macros please copy AloahaAddIn.dot to the Office Startup Folder. The startup folder will look like: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\STARTUP
