Use Aloaha PDF Suite to monitor any of your existing printer

Unlike 3rd party PDF Creator tools Aloaha does not need a dedicated virtual PDF Printer. Any installed printer driver can be used to create/convert your documents to PDF.

The Wrocklage PDF Printer is being installed by the Aloaha Setup as default PDF Creation printer. In case you need to monitor a different printer that can be done very straight forward.

Please follow the steps below to see how for example a HP550c Printer driver can be used/monitored by Aloaha.

1) Start the Printer configuration tool monitor.exe from the Aloaha PDF Suite installation folder. (C:Program Files\Wrocklage\monitor.exe)

2) Right click on the printer to be monitored. In this case it is the HP550c

3) Choose PDF Prepare

4) After about half a minute the re-configuration of the HP550c has finished and monitor.exe can be closed.

5) Now you can right click on the Aloaha tray Icon on choose settings.

6) In the PDF Tab please choose HP550c



Ever print to the HP550c will now be converted to PDF. In case you need to monitor more than one printer please open the creator.exe from the Aloaha Installation Folder and choose "Monitor all Printer".

Printer models which have been reported to deliver excellent PDF results to Aloaha

The following printer models have been reported as working excellent together with Aloaha:

- HP400
- HP500
- HP550C
- HP Color LaserJet 4500
- HP Color LaserJet 4600
- Expson Stylus Color 200
