D-TRUST 1024 / 2048 Bit signature card / D-SIGN multicard
The D-TRUST signature card can be extensively customized in terms of technical design, security level, functionality and visual design. The chip contains the private key which cannot be exported from the chip, as well as the certificate with the pertinent public key. This combination of key pair and personal certificate is necessary in order to generate electronic signatures.
The personal data includes your name and any further attributes which you may have selected for inclusion in the certificate when you submitted your application. The key pairs (public / private key) are already 2048 bits long. Key pairs are directly generated from and on the card. It is also possible for a signature card to contain several separately assigned key pairs which are designed to perform different functions (signing, encrypting and authenticating)
D-SIGN multicard
D-Trust offers currently a 1024 Bit and a 2048 Bit signature card. Furthermore they offer the D-SIGN multicard which is able to cache the PIN inside the card. This
secure PIN caching makes this card to the ideal card for automated mass signatures!
2048 Bit Signature Card
As the first accredited trustcenter in Germany D-Trust offers its customer a 2048 Bit Version of the Signature Card as well.

Batch Signatures via Shell Extension
Some cards (For example D-Trust multicard) are able to "keep the card open" between the signature transactions. With such cards it is possible just to select some PDF documents in the windows explorer, right click and sign them in one Batch.
