Do I need a smartcard to use Aloaha Crypt?

Aloaha strongly recommnends the usage of Smartcards to encrypt your hard drive. But is is possible to use Aloaha Crypt also without Smart Card.

In case Aloaha does not find a suiteable smart card it uses the first software certificate with the attribute "Key Encipherment".

Please note that in case you do not have a smart card you could use your mobile phone as smartcard with the Aloaha Mobile Cardconnector.
