Aloaha FAX Connector allows you to use the native FAX Service of Windows XP/Vista or Windows 2003/8 to send your PDF via FAX to remote FAX Machines. Since it is possible to share the Wrocklage PDF Printer, Aloaha will network enable the Windows XP FAX Service and convert your XP Service into your companies FAX maker. There is no need anymore to buy expensive FAX Software!

Requirements for Aloaha FAX Connector

Aloaha must be installed on Windows XP or Windows 2003.
Aloaha must run "non interactive" or as windows service.
Valid Aloaha evaluation key (contact our support) or license key
Windows XP or Windows 2003 Fax Service needs to be installed and configured.
Free Adobe Reader installed and at least once started before.

Aloaha FAX Connector configuration
Once you meet the requirements listed above you are close to share your XP or 2003 Fax service via network.

Make sure you have the latest Aloaha Build installed to make use of all features. Follow the steps below to activate the FAX Connector feature.

right click on Aloaha System Tray Icon and remove interactive checkbox.
right click on Aloaha System Tray Icon an enable in advanced settings "Automation"

Please make sure that the Adobe Reader is the default handler to print PDF Documents. To verify this right click on a PDF document and choose print.

To share your XP FAX Service to the network just share the Aloaha PDF Printer!

How do I use the FAX Connector?

The most innovative feature of the Aloaha FAX Connector is that it does not need at all any client software installed.
Just create your FAX with any Windows Application and embed a Line which starts with FAX: followed by a fax number.

For example: FAX: 0049 545145469

(Please note - multiple lines with FAXNumbers are allowed)

Now just print it to the Wrocklage PDF Printer! Aloaha will convert your document into PDF and FAX it to the Number(s) defined with the FAX: tag.

Other commands

With the Coverpage: command it is possible to instruct the Fax Service to use a defined Coverpage.
Commands like Recipient:, Sendername:, Faxnumber: and Senderphone: set the variables used on the coverpage.

The keyword RemoveFirstPage will remove the first page of the PDF document before faxing it.
