Aloaha releases Multicard support for Aloaha PDF Tools
Ibbenbüren, Germany. - Sept 20, 2006 – Wrocklage Intermedia GmbH announced today that it released support for Multicard Signature Token. For extra security Multicard Token allow the user to cache the signature PIN inside the card itself.
Typically smartcards and most national signature laws require one PIN entry for every signature generated. Such “behavior” of smartcards is not acceptable for user having to sign hundreds or even thousands of documents per day. The result is that such user start using Aloahas feature of caching the PIN inside the registry or on disk.
Caching the PIN number on disk or in the registry might be an acceptable solution in high security data centers. In normal company environments computers are constantly under the threat of viruses, Trojans or just the own employees.
Together with Multicards and
Aloahas secure PIN entry it is now possible to enter the PIN once via the secure PIN pad and sign an unlimited number of documents without having to repeat the PIN entry.
PINs entered via
secure PIN entry never leave the card reader thus making it impossible for sniffers, Trojans and viruses to get hold of it. With Multicards the PIN itself is being cached by the card itself to make sure that nothing at all has even the chance to get hold of the PIN.
Supported cards are for example the
G&D StarKey 200 or the
D-SIGN Multicard. Suggested card readers are the
SCM Chipdrive PINpad and the
Omnikey Cardmen 3621.
Following Aloaha Tools are able create secure mass- or batch signatures together with mulicards and class 2 reader.
Aloaha PDF Suite
The Aloaha PDF Suite is able to create, edit and digitally sign PDF documents. A working evaluation version can be downloaded from

Aloaha PDF Signator

Aloaha PDF Saver
Typically it is not possible to save PDF forms from within the free PDF Reader. With the Aloaha PDF Saver the user is able to save PDF forms incl. form data to disk and digitally sign these forms. It is also possible to save only the form data as XML or to import existing XML records into the PDF form. A fully working evaluation version can be downloaded from
